Vlad Guerrero

Vlad Guerrero

I was lucky enough to see Vlad Guerrero senior play here in Montreal, by far the best hitter weve seen here in Montreal.

Vlad Jr. is now starting to fill the promises they put on him in Toronto.
At 22 years old, The pop he displays is out of this world, on the way for a triple crown and maybe one of many. Thats how good he is...

Seems to me, like he is even better than his dad...

Re: Vlad Guerrero

theres 98 games left, triple crown talk is crazy until it's at least august. He's great! no doubt about it but we have to be realistic.

Re: Re: Vlad Guerrero

Obviously, triple crown talk is way too early...
But he probably has the tools to make it year in and year out. From what I see, he is that good and he is just getting started...

I am watching him game in and game out right now... and I can't even blink when he is at the plate...

Probably the 2nd hottest hitter I have seen in the last 20-30 years...

He his currently leading the Batting average, OBP and SLG by a huge margin... and we should get use to this for many years. He is simply on another planet....

He remembers me of Barry Bonds at the plate in the beginning of the 2000's... anything in the strike zone will get eat for lunch...

Complete package of effortless power hitting and he will also hit for a very high batting average.

if I am looking properly... Guerrero has an OPS of 1.148...
The closest OPS is at .981(Olson) and .941(Othani)...It is not actually even close... so anticipating a triple crown is surely not that crazy.

The MLB warning to pitchers may actually help some offensive players here to narrow the gap.. but I personnaly like his chances, especially since he is quite well protected in that Toronto lineup...

He doesn't give a @#?*)&) about that spider tack pitchers are using....

Re: Vlad Guerrero

Unstoppable IF he stays focused and manages his weight properly.
