I'm in that league and do find it strange that the bearcats dropped 2 of the 3 players they got back right after the trade.

When there's a pile of players, I look for who the best player is. Alexander is the get here - as he's considerably better than Horlen.
Bearkats dropping Yelich shows that they had no spot for another DH type (with Thomas occupying that spot) so they magically turned their bench player (Klein) into an asset (Alexander) by giving minor upgrades at positions that are super easy to fill (reliever / DH).

I vote that it is a fair trade :)
Clearly it may be a great trade for the manager who has Klein on his bench. But if we ignore Yelich and Dotel, who were dropped. (and ignore Klein) then the trade is really Hermann and some ok players for Alexander.
I just checked a few ATG auto drafts -- Hermann's average draft position was mid-5th round and Alexander's was 6th round. Now this was a small sample, but that seems in the realm of fairness. I didn't get either player in these drafts.
I'd probably take Hermann if I needed an OF and Alexander if I needed a pitcher.

I have a hard time thinking a successful team who's is 24-9 will lose a trade to somebody who is 9-24...
When I look at it O/A, and looking at the league history stats
I see
2 Outfilerders generating approx the equivalent .825 OPS, with one being better D.
On top of it, the User is also getting a 2nd Starter as a throw in for a Bum!
And as far as the 2 relievers involved, its quite a non factor...
24-9 Team User is winning in a highway robbery!
I guess some users are forgetting that the purpose of a trade is to help both teams ! Not to have a team winning the trade or to get a robbery in...

My thoughts were that it was borderline whether to run it by Guy - but I don't think it would be overturned.

Overturn or not, clearly somebody taking advantage of another here...
I've been seing bad trades often, that I dont raise the flag anymore.
I've been offered some intelligence insulting trades also, that I often responds way too politely and should even not do so...
A bit like morons who would want to trade Baltic Avenue vs Boardwalk !!!!
