I've got a player listed as DH(1B) but he doesn't have a fielding percentage. What does the CPU use as his fielding pct if I play him at 1B?

I was wondering that same thing. I believe its 2023 JD Martinez that is listed with OF as his primary position, but he has no Fielding %. So what's that gonna look like if I put him in the OF for a season?

I went ahead and did it with 2019 Nelson Cruz at 1B, which is his secondary position. Five games so far and no errors yet, so whatever number the sim is using it's not something catastrophic.

I would expect it drops to about 80% so keep us posted on how it goes...

He's only had 1 error in his first 11 games at 1B, so I can't complain so far.

I've found that 1b is a position you can get away with that but the one position you absolutely can't is catcher. I played in a league where the owner had Dave Kingman at catcher , he made 100 plus errors and allowed 700 plus stolen bases !!
