Defensive sub question

Had my SS injured late in a game. Henry Blanco (3B/OF) came in off the bench to replace him, playing SS for the 9th inning. Meanwhile, Alex Rodriguez (3B/IF) was playing 3B and stayed there for the 9th. Shouldn’t the Sim have flipped ARod to SS and put Blanco in at 3B? No biggie, but just wondering if that’s a glitch in the system that anyone else has experienced.

I think it has something to do with looking for primary positions first and in those cases, won't move a guy from his starting position to avoid 2 players being at their secondary position?

I think you've got it there Sin - I've seen players switched to other position due to PH/PR, but not for injuries for some reason.

You 2 would certainly know more than me but I have never seen a position switch like that .
